I've been singing for as long as I can remember: in the car, in the shower, and lately in front of a lot more people.

Singing is the one thing that makes me nervous and happy at the exact same time, which is probably why I keep saying yes to it.

The national anthem at a Columbus Crew match.

Standing on the field in front of a full stadium, in a Crew jersey, about to sing the national anthem. My legs were shaking. My voice wasn't.

As a lifelong soccer girl, singing before a Crew match was a full-circle, pinch-me moment.

Lately

Plants, a piano and a thrifted coat.

A recent set, and yes, the coat was a find.
